Jeg kom over et meget interessant intervju med Geddy Lee fra det Canadiske bandet "Rush" som jeg har lyst til å dele med dere.
Jeg har vært en stor fan av "Rush" helt siden de slapp sitt første album i 1974. Jeg har til og med vært trommis i et band som ihvertfall forsøkte å spille Rush's sang "Limelight". Dette var i slutten på 80-tallet, og det var utrolig gøy!
Geddy Lee gjorde et stort inntrykk på meg i dette intervjuet; der han snakker om hvordan moren og faren hans overlevde Holocaust. Jeg tror det er viktig at vi prøver å spre historier fra Holocacst survivors, særlig nå i disse tider når Holocaust fornektelsen brer om seg.

Jeg tar ogeå med sangen "Red Sector A" som er en hyllest til Geddy's foreldre og alle andre Holocaust survivors.
"Red Sector A" is a song by Rush that provides a first-person account of a nameless protagonist living in an unspecified prison camp setting. "Red Sector A" first appeared on the band's 1984 album Grace Under Pressure. Lyricist Neil Peart has stated that the detailed imagery in the song intentionally evokes concentration camps of the Holocaust. Peart has stated that while Nazi concentration camps of World War II were his primary lyrical motivation, he decided to abstract the lyrics so as to apply to the experiences of atrocity of any similar prison camp scenario. It also has to do with singer/bassist Geddy Lee's remembrance of his mother's accounts of the Holocaust, which she survived. This can be shown in the lyrics, were one part goes: "For my father and my brother, it's too late/but I must help my mother stand up straight."
